Expanded Film Collection for Cultural Engagement

The library is pleased to announce a significant expansion of our video collection. Thanks to an acquisition from a recently closed local university, we have added over 300 feature films to our holdings, bringing our total video collection to just over 700 titles.

The new additions span a wide range of genres—comedy, drama, action, science fiction, and more—representing both contemporary popular films and enduring classics. The collection also includes numerous animated films from studios like Disney and Pixar.

These films are available to help you engage the stories, questions, and worldviews that shape contemporary culture. Whether you're preparing to communicate the gospel in a post-Christian context, analyzing the philosophical assumptions embedded in our culture's dominant art form, or simply seeking to understand the narratives that move your neighbors, this collection provides essential primary sources.

All these films can be found in the A/V collection on the lower floor and are available for checkout for 4 weeks plus 2 renewals.

We encourage you to make use of these resources as you prepare for faithful witness in a culture that tells its most compelling stories on screen.
