MOBIUS Service Disruption Starting April 18

As we and our MOBIUS partners prepare for the library system migration that will be completed on May 22, MOBIUS borrowing will be temporarily suspended starting on April 18. This will allow time for most outstanding MOBIUS loans to naturally complete their checkout periods and make their way back to their home libraries before the migration, reducing the complexity of the data transfer into the new system.

MOBIUS requesting will be re-enabled on May 22 when the new MOBIUS catalog launches.

When is the Deadline for Requesting Books Through MOBIUS?

Requesting in the MOBIUS catalog will be suspended on the morning of April 18, so get all your MOBIUS requests in by April 17.

Will I Be Able to Check Out Books at Other MOBIUS Libraries?

After the suspension of MOBIUS service on April 18, you will not be able to check out books on-site at other MOBIUS libraries or request that books be sent to other MOBIUS libraries for pickup.

The functionality to support on-site MOBIUS borrowing is on the development roadmap for the new system and will be enabled some time later.

Can I Renew My MOBIUS Books?

Through April 17, current MOBIUS loans may be renewed, if eligible. Renewals of current MOBIUS loans will not be possible starting April 18.
